Like any other Richard Mille watch with the Bubba Watson name, the RM 32-02 Tourbillon is tailored for optimum performance. With around 70 hours of power reserve, it can be a golfer’s go-to timepiece for several days. The “variable inertia” free-sprung balance enhances its shock resistance so that the watch maintains reliability even during the stresses of disassembly and reassembly. The result is improved chronometric performance.
The RM 32-02 Bubba Watson stands out from other Richard Mille watches thanks to its regulator index. This innovative design allows for highly repeatable and precise calibration using the four small, adjustable screws on the balance wheel.
The timepiece also endures the toughest plays with PVD-treated Grade 5 titanium bridges, which are highly corrosion-resistant, remarkably rigid, and biocompatible to support the train gear’s effortless function. Specifically, the alloy is 4% vanadium, 6% aluminum, and 90% titanium, a winning combination that improves the material’s mechanical properties. It’s no wonder the same material is often used in automobile, aeronautics, and aerospace applications.
